At last summer seems to have arrived. Doesn’t it make everyone feel so much better? Why?

Some people say it's the longer sunnier days.  Others say it’s the feeling of warmth on their skin, and feeling free.

People seem to have more time stop and share with others, and they enjoy their day! That fact is -  the summer lifts our spirits We feel physically better. The secret really is, for those who realize it - Make hay while the sun shines

The question you should be asking yourself is:

" Are you going to make the most of this summer?"

Go back to how you feel on a warm sunning day – how do you feel, do you want to be in an enclosed office all day?

  • Do you want to have the best day every?
  • Do you want to make a lasting impression?
  • Do you want to impress your clients and win more business?
  • Now how do you think others are feeling?
  • How do you think they would like to do business?
  • How is it best to accomplish the finest business, to make first-class connections and win additional business?
  • Provide your clients, colleagues and acquaintances with what they would truly appreciate.

Why not invite your clients to a summer Barbecue

SUMMER BARBECUE ETIQUETTE

  1. Provide a grill master for the day.
  2. Make sure that you have all the relevant Barbecue tools
  3. Do not get involved with his Barbecue technique
  4. Always be attentive to your guests.
  5. Do not have your cats and dogs at the Barbecue
  6. Provide clean polished metal cutlery (do not use plastic cutlery)
  7. Use clean sparkling china
  8. Polish drinking glasses
  9. Never put ketchup on a hot dog or burger, you do not want it to drop all down the front of your shirt or blouse.
  10. Provide name badges for your clients as this will stop any embarrassment for clients who otherwise may not be able to remember someone’s name.
  11. Remember to ask how your guest would like their stake cooked.
  12. Consider hiring a butler for the day or at the very least a waitress to serve the food and drinks
  13. Acceptable barbecue games: horseshoes, croquet and badminton,
  14. Provide insect protection by burning insect repellent candles and torches filled with citronella oils.
  15. Be mindful of what your lady and Gentlemen clients would like to drink.
  16. Provide red and white wine
  17. Provide soft drinks and plenty of ice.
  18. Make sure your guests feel welcome and relaxed
  19. Treat them well – they will remember you – you will have gained the edge.
